While my services are organized into packages for maximum benefit

(and reliable budgeting) for you, with more than 20 years of experience,

I know there are no cookie-cutter solutions or secret formulas for FAIA elevation.

Every submission must tell a unique story.

FAIA Consulting Packages

If you’re ready to submit but don’t know

where to start:


> Kick-Off Strategy Session
For: First-year or re-start candidates who need assistance in identifying thebest object, creating a thematic strategy, and developing an outline.
Services Provided: Review of CV/resume and other materials, in-depth conversation via phone or Zoom about work history and areas of significant contributions. Development of narrative themes, identifying ripple effect and creating an outline for all sections of the submittal. Additional brainstorming about graphics, references, and sponsor, as needed. Four additional hours of service – for editing, revision, or review – provided at the candidate’s request. (Must be added to the schedule before September 8, 2023.)

If you’ve previously submitted and want

to make another run:
 

> Re-Do Review
For:
Candidates who submitted in the previous cycle and would like to develop a strategy to address jury comments for a second- or third-year submittal (or non-consecutive first year submittal that is based on the previous existing document).
Services Provided: Close read of draft with reference to jury comments. Specific suggestions for strategy/direction and comment on graphics and images in response to jury comments. Additional strategy and plan of attack for a resubmit, and a brainstorm/review session via Zoom (or phone). Written comments and notes are provided as follow-up. Two additional hours of service – for editing, revision, or review – provided at the candidate’s request. (Must be added to the schedule before September 8, 2023.)

 

If you’re halfway through the process and need another set of eyes or a second opinion

> Mid-Stream Draft Review
For:
Candidates preparing submittals who have a near-complete draft or arehalfway finished and would like to ensure the submittal is on the right track.
Services Provided: Close read of draft with line edits for content, style, and persuasion. Specific suggestions for strengthening or shifting strategy and comment on/ suggestions for graphics and images. Focus on particular issues and concerns. One-hour call/Zoom to discuss comments and questions. Written comments and notes are provided as a follow-up. Two additional hours of service – for editing, revision, or review – provided at the candidate’s request. (Must be added to the schedule before September 8, 2023.)

If you’d like comments and edits on a complete

> Final Draft Review
For: Candidates with a complete submission in need of a final review with fresh eyes to ensure readability, clarity and cohesion, as well as
meeting all FAIA submission requirements.
Services Provided: Close read of draft with line edits for clarity and accuracy, as well as checking all requirements are met. One hour call/Zoom to discuss or written comments provided. Available until five
days before the deadline.

If you’d prefer to meet more often throughout

the cycle:

> Five-Month Coaching
For: Candidates preparing their own submittal who would like to stay on track or to receive assistance with developing narrative themes.
Can also include assistance with reference strategy and ensuring all requirements are met.

Services provided: One-hour, one-on-one meetings held via phone or Zoom twice a month from May through September for a total of ten sessions. I will review progress in advance and provide comments as well as line edits and minor revisions. We can brainstorm strategy and set goals for the next meeting. I’ll follow up each meeting with written notes. I’m also happy to answer quick questions between calls to keep things on track.

 

If you’d prefer to move through the cycle with a small cohort and a series of online classes:

> FAIA Academy
For: Candidates preparing their own submittal who are seeking guidance and insight into the process, tools for success, direct assistance with particular challenges, as well as accountability and motivation. First, second, and third year candidates are welcome.
